Stella Restaurant and Bar is a four-level home for casual catch-ups, business lunches, after-work drinks and evenings that take their time. The ground floor opens around the Marana Forni pizza oven; upstairs, the Cocktail Bar and open-air Rooftop offer different ways to settle in.
The private cellar is made for intimate dinners, while the rest of the house is ready for everyday tables and larger celebrations.
A family table
Stella has been years in the making. Owner Ali Mousavi grew up in his father’s restaurant, where the idea of a place built around food and family began. The pizza-crust recipe has been developed and refined over four decades and remains part of the kitchen’s heritage.
Named for his daughter, Stella brings together family, flavour and beautifully considered spaces in the heart of South Yarra.
